Joe Louis Arena is the home of the Detroit Red Wings. It is nicknamed "The Joe." Joe Louis Arena is owned by the City of Detroit. The arena is located on Steve Yzerman Drive. Sometimes, the owner lets other companies put on plays. It was completed in 1979 at a cost of $57 million, the venue is named after boxer and former heavyweight champion Joe Louis, who grew up in Detroit.
FORD FIELD
Ford Field is the home of the Detroit Lions. It was originally planned to be an outdoor stadium. Also, the stadium's design incorporates the six-story former Hudson's warehouse, which was constructed in the 1920s. Another thing about Ford Field is that it is one of the ten venues in the NFL that has end zones in the east and west. Ford Field cost an estimated $430 million to build, financed largely through private money, and the sale of naming rights.
Cobo hall is a convention center and is located in Detroit.The cobo center was designed by Gino Rossetti. Cobo center opened in 1960. cobo expanded in 1989. cobo center holds the international auto show. Cobo center is 2,400,000 square feet .The Cobo is a really big convention center.
